Warm, cooked foods are nourishing for the digestive system, especially when eaten in the morning. I created this breakfast cereal for maximum high energy, staying power and nutritional benefit.

Both quinoa and hemp seeds are high in protein, while coconut oil and cultured, pasture-raised butter are an excellent source of healthy fats. Chia seeds were originally eaten by Aztec warriors for high energy and endurance. It turns out they are a superfood, high in Omega 3s, fiber and minerals.

How about mulberries? Mulberries contain reservatrol, the anti-aging nutrient, along with fiber, protein (quite unique for a fruit) and iron. Goji berries are an excellent source of anti-oxidants, and used for helping the body to conjugate hormones in the liver. Hormonal issues? Eat your goji berries.

Possibly best of all, this breakfast is quick to prepare, and works well on the go in a glass Tupperware container. Just get all your ingredients on the counter, throw them in and voila!
