Cosmetic Acupuncture is a natural approach to reversing the visible signs of aging on the face. It is a non-surgical, non-invasive technique that helps skin look younger, brighter, smoother and uplifted.

A holistic treatment to restore overall health and vitality so that it may be reflected in the skin, Cosmetic Acupuncture is the full expression of beauty from the inside-out. Appearance changes are natural, not drastic, dramatic or sudden. It may be used for those seeking an alternative to Botox, injectibles or surgery, or those seeking a complement to other anti-aging treatments.

Cosmetic Acupuncture can:

  • Stimulate production of collagen and elastin
  • Reduce or erase fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improve facial muscle tone and tighten the skin
  • Reduce under-eye puffiness or bags
  • Firm chin jowls
  • Improve complexion
  • Improve cellular metabolism and circulation
  • Promote facial muscle relaxation

What should I expect?

Each session will begin with a short consultation. We will then apply a balancing herbal toner to your face, and place tiny needles to the scalp, face, and other parts of the body. Most patients report feeling very relaxed and little to no pain on insertion of the needles. After resting for 30 minutes, we will conclude with a facial massage.

How long are the treatments?

A complete course of treatment is 10 sessions within 5 weeks, each session lasting 75-90 minutes.* After the initial series, follow ups are suggested at 1-3 treatments quarterly to maintain results over the long term.

*Smokers and sunbathers require between 15-20 treatments.

Is there anything I need to know for my first visit?

– Please do not wear makeup to your treatment. You may bring makeup with you to apply afterwards.
– Due to superficial blood vessels on the face, bruising can be a side effect of cosmetic acupuncture. Please schedule your appointments with this in mind.

Does Cosmetic Acupuncture work for anything else?

Yes. Cosmetic Acupuncture is beneficial for many skin conditions including acne, rosacea, facial paralysis, surgery recovery and discoloration.
